Hobbies are more than just a way to pass the time for younger generations—instead, they can really define who they are. YPulse data shows that 90% of Gen Z and Millennials have a hobby, whether they’re drawn to creative pursuits or the great outdoors. Young people are using their hobbies to explore their individuality, interests, and goals—quite literally bringing their passions to life. And while some may think teens and young adults’ hobbies are behind screens, separating them from the world, many prioritize group activities, finding ways to connect over their favorite pastimes.   In YPulse’s Hobbies and Passions trend report, we ask 13-39-year-olds what their biggest hobby is, and why, as an open-ended question*.
