Munich opened the doors to its first alcohol-free beer garden. More alcohol-free brands and bars are opening across Europe to cater to sober curious young consumers. Now, even Munich is having its own alcohol-free beer garden, which is quite a symbol considering Munich is the home of Oktoberfest. Named Die Nullβ€”meaning β€œthe zero” in Germanβ€”the space was created “in a completely traditional sense” to ensure all the elements of a proper beer garden were respected (think brass band and giant pretzels).
