TikTok is planning to open multiple studios for creators to visit and host live shopping events. With Los Angeles being a central hub, the company is exploring partnerships with brands and ad agencies to help cover production costs for creators, as well as arranging for manufacturers to send samples directly to the studio. Despite the success of shopping streams in China, the trend has not gained significant traction in the U.S. However, TikTok is optimistic about the potential and aims to capture a share of the $200B market.
