Martha Stewart is reissuing her 1982 debut cookbook, Entertaining, unchanged for Gen Z. As $35 originals now go for hundreds online, the reprint with nothing changed, including the outdated phrasing, is meeting real demand. Stewart frames her relevance with young people as earned cool, with real cooking chops and, of course, pop culture references from Snoop to Liquid Death. TikTok curiosity also spiked after recent documentaries, so younger fans want the origin story from the OG foodie influencer. The book still sells fantasy hosting, but Stewart frames it as “real stuff, no AI-engineered food,” which speaks to Gen Z’s authenticity filter. To celebrate the reissue, Stewart is taking over Crumbl Cookie’s entire menu from Nov. 3-8 with co-developed desserts and limited-edition six-pack boxes—just furthering her brand relevance.
