Primark is making its kids clothing more accessible to children with sensory challenges. As a part of their ongoing commitment to inclusivity, the brand is removing neck labels from some T-shirts, hoodies, and pajamas in their children’s clothing to reduce irritation. They’re also launching seamless socks after hearing from parents that regular socks can be uncomfortable for kids with sensory challenges. These updates will be made to their core kids wear with the goal of making everyday dressing easier for more families. Primark is also adding in-store signage and website filters to help parents find sensory friendly options more easily. They’ve also introduced “sensory friendly shopping hours” where stores will “operate with reduced noise and no till sounds or in-store announcements for the first hour of opening every Saturday” in a few U.K. stores to create a more comfortable experience.
