Gen Z reports improving personal finances, but that doesn’t translate to political approval. The gen is feeling slightly more optimistic about their personal finances than older generations, with 27% saying their situation has improved over the past year—compared to just 18% of adults over 65-years-old. But that optimism doesn’t extend to politics: an NBC News survey finds 70% of Gen Z disapprove of how Trump is handling inflation, a higher rate than any other generation. Still, YPulse data shows that 61% of 13-39-year-olds are confident it will strengthen post-election, rather than not—though 77% would also rather save than spend post-election. (CNBC)
