A third of Gen Z employees lie about their political beliefs at work. A survey of 500 Americans from Enhancv found that there are generational and gender differences in attitudes toward political conversations at work. While 23% overall feel threatened during workplace political talks, Gen Z employees experience this nearly twice as much as Boomers (28% compared to 15%.) And that may be because they’re 10 times more likely than Baby Boomers to be disciplined for expressing them. The most controversial topics include presidential candidates, abortion, and LGBTQ+ rights. Overall, six in 10 workers believe political discussions at work are unacceptable, with women and Gen Z more likely to hold this view than men and older gens. (Newswire)
