A Chick-fil-A in Louisiana’s summer camp is letting kids work for a day. For three days in July, 5-12-year-old campers can learn the ropes of customer service. For $35 (paid to the restaurant, not to the camper), they’ll get a kids’ meal, name tag, t-shirt, and a snack while they learn about taking and bagging guest orders, how to be a cow mascot, and tour the kitchen. But a Facebook post announcing the camp days was met with controversy in over 1K comments. Some think it’s taking advantages of the kids, while others think it’s a real opportunity for them to learn about “work ethic and responsibility” young. (delish)
