Disney is making things affordable-ish for families with a ton of new park updates. A trip to the Disney parks is uber expensive these days, and especially during a recession. YPulse data shows that 40% of Millennial parents say we’re currently in a recession and 37% would cut back on travel in reaction to one. Regardless, following Bob Chapek’s controversial time as CEO, Disney is making plans to get families to the parks with various special offers. In Disneyland they’re increasing the amount of days offered at the lowest price one-day park ticket (at $104) and in Disney World, annual pass holders can now “visit the parks after 2 p.m. without having to make a reservation, except on Saturdays and Sundays at the Magic Kingdom, and will be offered free parking while staying at a Disney World resort.” Plus, both parks will be offering free digital downloads of photos to select guests.
