Callaway and Good Good are facing backlash for an ad of a woman being tackled. The golf equipment brand and popular YouTube golf channel (2M+ subscribers) released a promo for a co-branded driver in which Good Good co-founder Garrett Clark shoves fellow member Alexis Miestowski to the ground as she reaches for the club, then stands over her saying, “Do not touch my new driver.” The ad was pulled within a day amid intense backlash, with Callaway’s CEO later calling their approval of it a failure of internal process, and announcing both internal and external investigations.
