TV shows are a huge part of European Gen Z’s pop culture: they inspire memes, cultural discourse, and are constant topics on social media. YPulse’s recent Media Consumption report shows that European 13-24-year-olds are almost as likely to have watched a TV show in the last week as a social media video (58% vs 59%). Surprisingly, teenagers are even more likely to have watched TV series than social media video.
