When it comes to social media, Gen Z and Millennials certainly play favorites. With YPulse data from our bi-annual Social Media Monitor reports, we’re able see which platforms they’re using most—and the specific differences in their usage. Overall, Snapchat is young consumers’ fifth most used social media platform, but our data shows Gen Z is far more likely to be users than Millennials. We also know exactly what kind of content these gens go to Snapchat for, what kind they post there themselves, and which features of the app they use most.
