The first day of summer may technically be June 21, but for Gen Z, it’s officially summer blockbuster season. (Calendars be damned!) And for the gen who is reportedly driving the box office, their summer is being defined just as much by what’s playing at the theater as by their vacation and hangout plans. Over the next few months, major releases like Toy Story 5, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and The Odyssey are set to arrive, all of which have been generating online chatter among Gen Z for months.
