Last year, YPulse shared that Taylor Swift was the top favorite musician among young Europeans. And while the global pop princess still holds the top spot as favorite music celebrity among 13-39-year-olds in the region overall, when we look at Gen Z’s top named favorite music celebrities in each country, a different story becomes clear. As we’ve also said before, despite growing up in a more global world, local culture is a huge influence on these gens in Europe. Many lesser-known and more regional artists rise to the top of the lists of Gen Z European’s favorite music artists—musicians who might not have global fame but are beloved in Western Europe. (Some even more than Taylor Swift.)
