Facelift patients may be getting younger. The cosmetic procedure isn’t just for older women anymore—many doctors report more women in their 30s are getting facelifts. Thanks to social media, celeb influence, and the rise of less invasive, preventative treatments like Botox and fillers being the norm for in women in their 20s, it doesn’t seem like a big leap to this younger demo. However, YPulse data shows very few young women are actually getting Botox, fillers, or other cosmetic procedures—only 2% of 18-24-year-old females have gotten Botox, and 2% have gotten lip filler. Meanwhile, only 2% of 25-39-year-olds females have gotten a facelift already—but notably, 19% say they would (though not when they would). Still, with newer techniques making results look more natural and social media making it seem like everyone is getting cosmetic surgery because of high profile influencers, the pressure to maintain a youthful look is stronger than ever.
