Young people’s favorite places to buy clothing right now says a lot about their overall shopping habits

Gen Z and Millennials genuinely enjoy shopping, whether it’s online or off (because both have benefits they want at different times). This year, YPulse’s Shopping and Retail report shows these gens prefer to shop in-store, but the majority regularly shop both online and in-store. However, eight in ten agree they have a budget when they’re shopping, which means their favorite places to buy clothes specifically are largely wherever can offer them the best deals—while still suiting their style.   With all their shopping preferences in mind, YPulse asks Gen Z and Millennials what their favorites places are to buy clothing (online or off) as an open-ended response. Respondents named hundreds of answers, but their top favorite places to update their wardrobe are agreed upon year after year.
