There’s nothing that compares to fall 2022 according to Gen Z Nothing says Gen Z is ready for fall quite like the return of #FallTok. But instead of romanticizing the season with the same old Gilmore Girls “So, what’s the verdict? I am an Autumn” audio (well, that too), Gen Z is looking back at a much more specific moment in time: Fall 2022. Often set to Steve Lacy’s song “Bad Habit” from the same year, creators are digging through their camera rolls and reposting ordinary videos that have suddenly become sentimental. Think: b-roll of college campuses blanketed with colorful leaves, rainy sidewalks, and walks to class that didn’t seem significant at the time, but mean everything now.   One creator reminisced about their “walk to class in college fall 2022” (1.9M views and 411K likes), sharing a peaceful video of leaves blowing from the trees. Another wrote, “oh nothing, just a video i took fall 2022 walking home after class so i’d remember the little details of college forever”...
