Kids in Europe are growing up in a media environment that looks very different from the one their parents experienced. Streaming services, social media platforms, and connected devices are all competing for their attention—and often sharing the same screen time. Instead of gathering around a single TV set, many kids are bouncing between tablets, phones, and smart TVs (sometimes all at once), discovering shows, clips, and creators wherever the algorithm takes them. While YPulse has said before that young viewers in Western Europe are watching more on TV screens than their peers in North America, that doesn’t mean that they’re only watching cable or traditional TV.
