TikTok comments turned Revlon’s PR miss into beauty brand wins  Nothing gets brands talking like a viral TikTok they can comment on—or offer some merch up for. Back in August, creator @sydneycle posted a video about losing her favorite Revlon lip oil—while line dancing, of all things. Luckily, Revlon saw the post and swooped in, commenting that they’d send her a replacement. End of story, right? Not quite. A month later, Sydney followed up with a viral update (7M views and 804K likes), saying Revlon never actually came though: “when Revlon commented on my TikTok over a month ago and said they would send me a replacement oil after I lost mine and then ghosted me.”   This call out got the attention of a major rescue squad. Prada Beauty, NYX, Bubble Skincare, Colourpop Cosmetics, and many more jumped into the comments—and her DMs—offering to send her new products instead.
