Over the past several years, this gen has made buying pre-loved items mainstream, and YPulse data shows that 77% of European 13-24-year-olds have purchased a secondhand product and 71% have sold one. Gen Z tells YPulse that the main reasons they’re selling secondhand is because it’s an easy way for them to earn money, while also contributing to the fight against climate change—a cause we know young Europeans are passionate about.
