YPulse’s new Nano-Creators 101 trend report shows 54% of 13-39-year-olds (55% of 13-17-year-olds and 63% of 18-24-year-olds) create social media content (e.g. videos, posts, memes or gifs, etc.) for a broader audience than just their friends and family. In fact, we just told you nano-creators are at the top of the list of what teens want brands to be posting. Our data shows that while bigger online influencers can be paramount to getting young consumers interested in a product, real people and relatable content are more trusted for final purchases.
