How YPulse’s 2023 Trend Predictions Came True

We’re not saying “we told you so,” but just about every prediction YPulse made for 2023 did come true…

  • We predicted 2023 would be a year full of technological immersions with AI becoming a norm, the metaverse being redefined, and phygital products all evolving
  • While TikTok growth still grew at the start of the year, it has since slowed down—and micro / nano influencers proved to be most valuable this year
  • Viral fails along with the popularity of dupes proved that young peoples’ resentment towards the rich definitely escalated
At the beginning of each year, YPulse experts make predictions about the upcoming trends and behavioral shifts that will affect young people—or be caused by them. Just as our predictions for 2022 came true, our predictions for 2023 also came to fruition (well, most of them).
