YPulse data shows both traveling and spending time outdoors are important to the majority of Gen Z and Millennials, and they view both as top contributors to their overall happiness and well-being. And yet, YPulse’s Health and Fitness report shows that the majority of young consumers wish they had more time and skills for outdoor activities—and 38% even say they don’t feel welcome in the outdoor community. So, brands have the opportunity to do more for these gens in outdoor spaces, especially as part of travel campaigns and experiences. As summer is underway, young people are looking forward to participating in a number of outdoor activities that brands could be tapping into.
