Fans of both Barbie and Christopher Nolan films are coming together this summer  YPulse’s recent Experiences report data shows that both Barbie and Oppenheimer are in Gen Z and Millennials top 10 most anticipated films this summer. And because they’re being released the same day next month (July 21st), young social media users are anticipating that they’ll make an all-day, double feature event of seeing the movies.   While one is set to be an existential comedy, the other is set to be a bleak drama. Greta Gerwig’s Barbie and Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer are clearly two very different vibes, but social media users are intent on seeing both which has social media users “poking fun at the stark contrast in the movies’ themes, moods and color schemes” according to The New York Times.
