JOB DESCRIPTION 

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join us.

Not just any BDR but someone ambitious and genuine, who works best on their own initiative as part of a wider, international, collaborative and forward-thinking team.

We would like this person to educate our new customers and to evangelize our mission.

As a member of the Business Development Team, you will help execute our strategy by nurturing leads into qualified prospects.

Our goal is to be the most innovative, efficient, and effective customer-focused team, so we are looking for talent that exudes those qualities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

We’re looking for a BDR who can own the beginning of the sales cycle.

This person will partner with the YPulse Account Executive to help drive new business in the region.

You will be joining the business during a period of growth, providing a fast-paced, smart and entrepreneurial environment from which there are opportunities to build, grow and develop at pace.

You will be the first experience and point of contact for potential new customers at YPulse, so you will need to be organized and tenacious in pursuing opportunities and leads.

  • Work with Account Executives to discuss and strategize methods to penetrate targeted accounts with the goal of setting quality meetings
  • Identify and prioritize new business opportunities through outbound lead generation, research, and prospecting by:
    • Contacting leaders and executives in organizations of all sizes across multiple verticals/sectors;
    • Analyzing customer needs & identifying potential solutions: You will research and understand your prospects to gain insight into their business needs and effectively communicate how YPulse will meet those needs
    • Using social selling techniques to expand your network and open up new business opportunities
    • Working closely with our Marketing team to execute effective campaigns
  • Manage and respond to inbound requests from prospective clients
  • Present and explain YPulse’s product offerings
  • Document and track your activity within Salesforce, which will be critical to your success
  • Attend 1:1s, team meetings, training sessions, sales calls, discovery calls, demos, etc. to develop your skills

  • Proven experience of relevant work or internship
  • Excellent communication skills to help influence & persuade
  • Effective time management and organization skills
  • Experience using Salesforce, Salesloft and Hubspot
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office

  • Mastery of MEDDICC, MEDDPICC and / or Sandler Sales techniques
  • Previous experience in syndicated market research
  • Experience with sales tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, Zoominfo and others
