WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

Make your impact through this unique opportunity to help build a market and drive sales of our innovative youth marketing intelligence platform. We’re seeking an experienced Account Executive who builds, facilitates and drives new customer acquisition in support of our revenue goals. The Account Executive is an individual contributor role reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer. In this  position you will play a critical role in expanding our presence in the market. Account Executives at YPulse hit their quota through a combination of leads from marketing and self-identified prospects. A successful YPulse Account Executive will produce an accurate monthly forecast that maps to a  high win rate of qualified opportunities. They will work closely with the Product and Research  teams to quickly progress opportunities and land new customers. The AE will also ensure new  customers are set up for success and ensure a seamless transition to their Customer Success Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

  • Prospect companies, identify decision makers, build a sales pipeline and generate strong interest for YPulse’s youth marketing intelligence platform
  • Research and understand your customers and prospects to gain insight into their business needs and effectively communicate how YPulse will meet those needs
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly quotas
  • Building and running prospecting activities (calls, emails, demos) to targeted leads. These leads should be both self-sourced and from other marketing sources
  • Using Social Selling techniques to expand your network and open up new business opportunities
  • Providing rapid response to inbound inquiries from all sources
  • Documenting and tracking within a Salesforce CRM system, which will be critical to your success
  • Bringing a high-energy, positive mindset every day which embodies the YPulse principles

WHAT YOU WILL BRING: 

  • 3+ years of B2B SaaS or MarTech sales experience 
  • Track record of success selling into VP and Director level decision makers at Fortune 1,000 companies 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Customer-centric principals demonstrated by active listening  
  • Positive energy and an eagerness to learn 
  • A high level of personal accountability and collaboration in a “team selling” environment
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
