In 2018, YPulse explored young Americans’ growing interest in global trends and media in our Borderless Culture trend report—and we’re seeing this happen in Western Europe, too. Like their North American peers, young Europeans have had unprecedented access to trends around the world thanks to social media. Now, these gens are actively seeking out international entertainment and products as their lens on the world continues to widen.

As YPulse continues to expand our global coverage of young consumers, we’re exploring both in a new Local / Global Citizenship report Behavioral Report. We’re exploring young European’s shifting views on their own country, their rising global citizenship, and how brands can tap into their growing interest in international products and media.

Based on a survey of 1300 13-39-year-olds in the U.K., France, Germany, Spain, and Italy, fielded in May 2022.

Survey content for Pro users also includes data split by the following demographics: Gender & Generation, Age Groups, Academic Status, Country, Urban/Rural Status, LGBTQ+, and Parent.
