British TV network ITV is imploring U.K. consumers to give the gift of listening this holiday season.

Dec 22 2021

British TV network ITV is imploring U.K. consumers to give the gift of listening this holiday season. In a new print campaign and IRL activation, the network is continuing its mental health initiative, “Britain Get Talking,” which encourages Brits to seek and offer help with depression and anxiety. The print ad features images of unwrapped Christmas presents that hold “a heartfelt message instead of the usual aftershave or socks” and communicates the idea that the best gift isn’t material but emotional. Meanwhile, British musician Fleur East will host an activation in London’s Soho district where she’ll hand out ear-shaped chocolate bars to passers-by. The ad and pop-up follow ITV’s recent Christmas ad, featuring British TV stars sounding off their own emotional struggles in an effort to destigmatize conversations around mental wellness. (The Drum)
