Meanwhile, Lego is listening to Millennial parents’ desire for more diversity in children’s toys with a new Queer Eye set. YPulse’s Representation in Action trend data shows that 43% of Millennial parents say it’s important for the children’s entertainment/toy industry to reflect diversity and be inclusive, and Lego aims to meet their request with a Queer Eye collection featuring the Fab Five. Launching October 1, the Fab Five Loft Lego set features mini-figure versions of Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk, Antoni Porowski, and the show’s dog, Bruley. The set also features a before and after Lego figure of Kathi Dooley who received a makeover in one of the show’s most memorable episodes for players to recreate her look. Each of the Fab Five’s talents are woven into the set, with Antoni getting his own kitchen island, a clothing rack for France, a swivel salon chair for Van Ness, a couch and scrapbook for Karamo, and Bobby Berk helped design the Lego interior.
