Each year when YPulse asks Gen Z and Millennials about the social causes / issues they’re most passionate about, their answers reflect the state of the world and what they’re going through at the time. In 2022, mental health help / care was eighth on their ranking, but last year we saw it rise to the top spot. This year, mental health is still top of mind for young people, but issues like poverty and human rights have moved up the rankings, reflecting a concern for collective action when it comes to protecting marginalized groups.
