WHAT INFORMATION DOES YPULSE COLLECT AND HOW IS IT USED?
Here’s a fully transparent accounting of the information that we collect:
- We drop Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn cookies on all site visitors so that we might remind anyone who doesn’t sign up how awesome it would be for us both if they did via, you guessed it, Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn ads. We also store the Google click ID (GCLID) within our CRM system in order to track conversions.
- We use the data you shared within our newsletter sign-up form so that we can send you our free daily newsletter, our free weekly newsletter, or both. As a reminder, when you signed up you gave us: your first and last name, your email address, the company you said that you work for, and the industry that you said you work within. You have the ability to change or delete this at any time by reaching out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- We use your logged-in activity on our website to analyze your engagement with our content as well as to help us improve the insights we send your way. You’d be amazed at how little money there is to be made on free newsletters that have no ads, so we will occasionally reach out via email in order to make you aware of our paid product offerings. We try not to be a pest about it and, let’s be honest, that’s how a freemium business model works. The good news is that enough of our readers see value in stepping up to our paid, premium offerings that we can continue to keep producing the free stuff. Don’t thank us, thank them.
