Wanted: Sr. Research Operations Analyst

Our operation team’s mission is to empower all aspects of research conducted within YPulse in order to provide clients with highly resonant feedback, actionable insights and key takeaways that can convert into profitable / actionable data. The goal of our team is to be timely, effective and efficient when providing these insights in order to enable our researchers to add further value to our research value chain. The US-based Sr. Operations Analyst will collaborate with the research team in collecting, transforming, analyzing and visualizing complex data. 

The Sr. Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring that we adhere to all aspects of ethical research, that we abide by local and international data privacy laws and that each and every project empowers our clients understanding of the youth market as it pertains to their business.


  • Programming and fielding quantitative and qualitative projects
  • Data analysis using statistical tools, organizing project files and data
  • Managing sample vendors across project needs
  • Leveraging incentive management platforms across qualitative projects
  • Contributing to ongoing custom & syndicated research efforts – via data collection, data tabulation, and reporting development
  • Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions
  • Develop, maintain and quality- control databases and sources
  • Bringing a high-energy, positive mindset every day which embodies the YPulse principles


  • An interest in quantitative / qualitative research methods and practices
  • At least 5 years of job experience in the marketing research industry
  • Adept with application software, including enterprise feedback software programs
  • Background in market research survey programming & data processing (e.g. Questback EFS, Qualtrics, Confirmit, SPSS, & Tableau) 
  • Strong communications skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks 
  • Fluent in English


  • Background or interest in market research
  • Familiarity with data visualization programs like Tableau
  • Experience with operations teams
  • Studies in market research, marketing, psychology, sociology or related
  • Knowledge of computer languages (e.g. PHP, HTML, Python, JavaScript)
