Disney hires Bungie co-founder Alex Seropian to oversee creative development for Disney’s video game development arm and acquires Seropian’s company Wideload Games. (Joystiq)

At leading social media publisher BuzzMedia former MTV Networks’ Executive Vice President of Sales, Doug Rohrer, has been named Chief Revenue Officer, Andi Poch has joined as Senior Vice President of Ad Sales and the company has also added other key sales executives and ad support staff, and opened new offices in Manhattan to support its growth. Disney’s international TV division has tapped Nicholas Wodtke as VP of business strategy and development-new media for the Asia-Pacific region.,, Before arriving at Disney, Wodtke was CEO of Snap TV, where he oversaw development, production and distribution of more than 30 interactive game titles across multiple platforms. J.P. Hunting has been named key account manager for children’s sales at Harper Collins UK. He had been children’s book buyer at Borders UK. (Mediabistro, reg. required)

Social Networking site Bebo has appointed Hannah Rook to the new role of Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific. The role has been created to further drive Bebo’s awareness in the region and to capitalize on the platform’s popularity as a unique marketing platform. Prior to joining Bebo, Rook was Head of Digital at OMD’s Sydney Office (Sydney) with previous positions at Ikon Communications. (Digital Media)

The Vibe Lifestyle Network, which acquired the magazine and site earlier this month, announced the appointment of Jermaine Hall as editor-in-chief of both the print and Web sides of Vibe. Hall, who previously worked as editor-in-chief of King magazine and music editor at The Source. (Mediabistro)

MTV Networks Latin America promoted Fernando Gastón to senior vice president, creative, content and music for MTV/Vh1 Latin America. Gastón succeeds Jose Tillan who was recently appointed general manager of MTV TR3s in the US. (MediaPost, reg. required)
