adjusted its senior leadership structure, naming a new president and making other changes it said would help it adopt a “new business model” and “move beyond the magazine.” The company named Robert A. Sauerberg, who had been group president for consumer marketing, to be its new president, a role that had belonged to Charles H. Townsend. (Ad Age, reg. required)

Google has hired well known music attorney Elizabeth Moody to assist them with negotiations with music labels and other rights holders for their upcoming Google Music service. Moody was previously with Davis Shapiro Lewit & Hayes and specialized in digital music. (TechCrunch)

Marvel Worldwide promotes C.B. Cebulski to SVP/Creator & Content Development, Marvel Entertainment. Cebulski is charged with identifying, developing and nurturing new talent, developing new initiatives as well as advising on creative direction for Marvel’s properties. Michelle Andelman has been named literary agent, children’s fiction, at Regal Literary. She had been foreign rights scout at Andrea Brown Literary Agency. (MediaBistro, reg. required)

Twitter has hired Sun Hu Kim, longtime Google employee and their lead for Android developer marketing, to be a part of Twitter’s fast-growing platform team…In other Twitter recruitment news, earlier today, Twitter’s Join The Flock account (the account they use for recruiting purposes) tweeted that they would soon being recruiting for new employees on college campuses. Skywriter Media and Entertainment Group appoints Gwen Jones McCauley as VP/Distribution and Acquisitions. She will oversee the distribution division while Paula McLaren is on maternity leave. McCauley joins Skywriter from Cookie Jar Entertainment where she was VP/Distribution and Sales Operations. (Cynopis Kids)
