Ypulse Guest Post: ‘Sex::Tech – Focus On Youth’ Conference
Posted by meredith on 02-26-2009Today’s Ypulse Guest Post is from Deb Levine, Executive Director and Founder of ISIS, Inc. We invited Deb to discuss the Sex::Tech – Focus On Youth conference ISIS will be hosting next month in SF for a couple of reasons. Mainly, because we want to keep Ypulse readers in the know, but also because ISIS is one of our marketing partners, helping us to get the word out about our own Ypulse Youth Marketing Mashup in June. Partnering with other cool events like Sex::Tech and the Engage! Expo, helps us all promote our events and keep you informed.
Sex::Tech – Focus On Youth Conference
Great marketers are successful at getting youth to buy things – athletic shoes, clothing, music, scents, gear. But how many great marketers do you know who apply their talents to encourage youth to “do things?” Youth today are all over making change, they were instrumental in electing our new President – Yes, We Can. Why not focus youth energies on making informed decisions about their personal health?
Sex::Tech – Focus on Youth is all about marketing to youth to engage them in making change around sexual health – how we, as adults, educate, inform and inspire youth to make good decisions about their own lives.
Sex::Tech, hosted by ISIS, and held in SF on March 22-23, 2009, is the premiere conference focusing on sexual health, technology and youth. Some say Sex::Tech is dynamite – others say it’s a force for change. Cutting edge marketers like the folks from Premise Immersive Marketing will be there, along with the folks from Distributive Networks who orchestrated the SMS campaign for our now-President. (Ypulse’s very own Anastasia gave a keynote in 2008!) Audience members will include youth, youth advocates, educators, researchers, techies and parents. We expect national non-profit organization attendance along with corporate and national/international funders and tech companies reps.
Register today and make a difference in the life of a few million teens. C’mon, ya know ya wanna. [Discount rates if you bring a youth along!]
P.S. We’re looking for folks who want to reach youth (16-24), and the professionals who work with youth – NATIONAL audience. Marketing opportunities for 400+ goodie bags — swag (schwag) giveaway. Know of any companies, small or large, who fit the bill? If so, email me (Deb Levine).
