I was quite culture-shocked when I arrived in America. I&#039;d go to house parties and no-one would even be smoking weed, let alone anything stronger. Very strange.

Drugs are just a part of the social scene in the UK, at any social level. Here in the US they seem to be a very hidden subculture which is segregated from &quot;normal&quot; youth culture.</description>
