    Joss Whedon wrote the original “Buffy” movie.

    Then he controlled the TV show as it was on the air for seven seasons.

    And he controlled the spinoff “Angel” as it was on the air for five seasons.

    He’s had plenty of opportunity to show the world his interpretation of his “Buffy” characters.

    It’s fine for someone else to carry on.

    There was Sherlock Holmes after Sir Conan Doyle and there was Star Trek after Gene Roddenberry.
