    MICHIKO KAKUTANI reviewed the Harry Potter book.

    In 1999, she used a review of Al Gore's "Earth in the Balance" to slime Al Gore.

    What's interesting about the gogoddess site is that the goddesses of today (you figure out which one "you" are by taking a quiz) aren't even representing the same things as they did in the mythological world.

    Granted, I'm no goddess expert, but when they said Hera was the goddess of leadership, I was confused. Some are similar to their mythological counterparts (Venus, Diana) but others like Persephone, the goddess associated with Hades, is pretty off!

    Just seemed like an odd website overall.
