MTV goes 'crazy' with the web ("plans to build thousands of websites worldwide…" Imagine Dr. Evil, pinky at mouth. Mariana from MTV also sent a press release about LC's new virtual fashion line debuting tonight in Virtual Hills….) (Reuters via USA Today)
- Kabillion (a new tween site on the block?) (Izzy Neis)
- Heating up campuses (The New York Times Sunday mag, reg. required, on the sex magazines springing up on campuses - Ypulse covered this way back when)
- Smoking films (cigs in movies influence more white girls to start smoking them in real life) (L.A. Times, reg, required)
- Right Guard targets 'mature young men' (with its new site…in the same vein as Old Spice and Axe)
- Whitening not so good for young teeth (yet more teens under 16 opting for the trays, strips and other whitening methods. I tried whitening once and got so hot/cold senstive I stopped) (The Ledger)
- The Daversity Code (fun "green" film about bio diversity - thanks Eriq!)
- Public radio gets hip (Ypulse advertiser Trendcentral on Fair Game)

Anastasia… you're so awesome. Thanks for the link-up.
Anyway- Odd side comment about the "Smoking" article. As a kid I grew up with allergies and was HORRIBLY allergic to smoke. Loving Saturday Night Live as I did, I would watch it and feel sad at the amount of "smokers" in my troupe of comic heroes. Until Mike Myers. He usually used VERY fake cigarettes when the skit called for smoking. That did WONDERS for me (especially when dealing with jr. high friends "experimenting" with smoking). When it seemed that EVERYONE in the world smoked, one hero stepped out and didn't actually do it. Odd how that can affect a jr. high kids self esteem. :)
