Note from Anastasia: Light posting this morning — off to a work "offsite."

Thousands of Hispanic students turned out to protest the immigration reform bill in Los Angeles'Outrage' has returned! (recently I posted about the "death of outrage" and how youth activism has really become youth "consumeractivism." I found it incredibly refreshing to see thousands of young Latino students pouring out into the streets to protest the draconian House immigration reform bill. The issue hits home because as one teen protester said, "If this law passes, what will happen?…There would be no more Los Angeles High School. Nearly all of us are immigrants." Note that Hispanic radio and MySpace were key to the huge turnout) (L.A. Times, reg. required)

- Facebook for sale? (so says BusinessWeek…Sconex actually sold…to Alloy)

- Ads by you (USA Today on user generated ads or what we call VCAMs at Current. I like this submission — "Life as a Sony Bean.")

- Young, Christian, gay (activists challenging their peers at Christian schools on the issue) (Newsweek)

- The Fed for tweens (The government takes the most boring topic on earth and tries to break it down for 11-14 year olds)

- All of Meez (new avatar site launches…plus the folks at Imstar tell me they've added new fasions, cosmetics, lingerie, denim and hairstyles to their offering) (Paid Content)

- Kelly O gets a reality show (Ozzy's little girl learns to be a method actress and we all get to watch) (Reality Blurred)

- Girls binge drinking up (new study says binge drinking is on the rise for girls…and it's not beer they're binging on) (The Ledger Enquirer)

- Gawker on the NYU vomit trail (who needs Facebook to find photos of drunk college students?)
