I don't know how Papa Joe Simpson is going to explain this one. It seems that Ashlee attempted to sing sans back-up track at the Orange Bowl half time show, but according to AdRants, was heartily booed. I really feel bad for Ash. In his quest for world domination via his daughters, Joe has really set Ashlee up to take a hard fall. First all the sibling rivalry/comparison questions, then the SNL fiasco and now the reality that she just may not be that good. Sounds like a lifetime of therapy is not too far off.
