Totally Wired Youth Entrepreneur Panel @ The Ypulse Mashup
Posted by meredith on 04-02-2009
The Totally Wired Youth Entrepreneur Panel has become a staple each year at our annual San Francisco Youth Marketing Mashup event. This year we are bringing some added star power to the panel with our friend Guy Kawasaki, who has generously offered to moderate the discussion with this year’s inspiring group of entrepreneurs.
That’s right. Not only will you have the chance to hear from real teens and twentysomethings who use the web to socialize, create content and generally function, but you’ll also learn how they apply those same skills to a successful business model in order to run their own online companies and campaigns. Can’t you just feel the questions percolating now…
Our youth entrepreneur panelists will include:
Daniel Brusilovsky, Chief Executive Officer
Teens in Tech (a media platform and community for teenagers who want to produce media content, and distribute their content via the internet)
Jessica Mah, founder internshipIN.com (an online hub that matches up university students with startups seeking interns)
Carly Wertheim, Co-President, Teens Turning Green (a national coalition of teens educating peers and community members about safe, healthy, and green lifestyle choices)
Jun Loayza, Co-Founder, Future Delivery (a company dedicated to introducing products that make productivity fun for the Gen-Yers in the workplace by integrating social media and technology)
and, as we noted, the panel will be moderated by:
Guy Kawasaki, Managing Director, Garage Technology Ventures (Guy is venture capitalist who specializes in high-technology start-up firms. Previously, he was an Apple fellow at Apple Computer and he is the author of eight books including The Art of the Start and Rules for Revolutionaries. He is also behind the helpful RSS merchandiser AllTop and a Twitter celebrity.)
Register today….and I’ll see you in June!
