The Ypulse Campus Case Study Slam
Posted by anastasia on 02-02-2009I’ve been working behind the scenes on planning our program for the 2009 Ypulse Youth Marketing Mashup event in June, which will include a Kids Online “Unconference” Sunday afternoon and three pre-conference sessions on Monday morning (more info on that coming soon). In addition to the pre-conference “formerly known as urban” (we’re working on a better name – suggestions welcome), and our youth marketing bootcamp, I’m working with Dan Coates from Ypulse sponsor SurveyU on a pre-conference focused on reaching college students.
We decided to make the 3-hour session a “case study slam” where brand marketers, agency marketers, and pro-social marketers focused on reaching the college demographic (18-24) will present back-to-back 15 minute case studies sharing what they’ve learned. We want Ypulse readers who work in the college space to pitch us case studies for this morning event. Other than your campaign or product being targeted to college students, we will give preference to case studies focused on leveraging the web, mobile and gaming.
These cannot be sales pitches in any way — you will need to strictly follow this format and will be limited to six slides (no recycled sales presos):

If you would like to pitch a case study for the Campus pre-conference in June, please email me and Dan Coats with a short description of the campaign you would like to present.
If you are thinking of attending our June event – don’t wait until the last minute. Register now and get the early adopter rates as a way to save money. Frugal youth marketing will be a theme interwoven throughout every presentation this summer, so you don’t want to miss this event as an opportunity to generate new business/connections and learn ideas for doing more to reach youth with less.
