TranscendMag.com is a 5-year-old publication that describes itsef as “a ‘serious but fun’ publication specifically geared toward helping African American teens express themselves and reach their potential.” The site’s strength is in its “Get Published” section. Art, stories, song lyrics, opinions and poems appear here. We liked “Homage to a Microchip,” (scroll down the page) a sarcastic piece that supports the use of technology for peaceful purposes.
