Rick Haskins is promoted to the newly created position of EVP of Marketing and Digital Programs for The CW. In his new, expanded capacity, Haskins will be responsible for developing and producing content for the network’s digital platforms. He will also continue to spearhead the network’s marketing and digital initiatives. Haskins previously served as executive VP of marketing and brand strategy. (Via The Wrap)

Jason Wagenheim is named as Publisher of Conde Nast’s Teen Vogue. He had been publisher of Glamour. (Via Fishbowl NY)

Jeff Trojan returns to Playmates Toys in the role of VP of Boys Brands. He most recently was VP of Business Development for DC Comics. (Via Kidscreen)

Ashley Mateo is named Seventeen magazine’s News Editor. She was most recently Assistant Entertainment Editor at Self. (Via Release)

AJ Daulerio takes over as Editor-In-Chief of Gawker. He was most recently Editor-In-Chief of Deadspin, also owned by Gawker Media. Tommy Craggs is upped from Senior Editor to Editor-In-Chief at Deadspin. (Via Jim Romenesko)

Current TV adds a production staff for “The Young Turks,” its primetime news program for Millennial viewers: Steve Lange has been named EP of the show; he was most recently a VP for NBC’s owned & operated station in LA. Roland Woerner will serve as Senior Producer; he was most recently a Senior Producer with MSNBC. Genji Keen comes on board as Director; he was most recently Senior Studio Director at G4 Media. Dale Marx is named President of toy, games, sports, and fitness company Waboba USA. Marx’s has a background of building one of the largest sporting goods manufacturer’s rep firms, as well as extensive involvement in private label manufacturing. (Via release)

Fernando Romero is named VP Advertising Sales of DailyCandy, and will also work across NBCUniversal’s Entertainment and Digital Networks and Integrated Media division, including iVillage, Fandango, Television Without Pity, as well as the group’s online TV platforms.
