Mary Renner Beech has been named the new North America VP and GM of Toys and Social Expressions at Disney Consumer Products. For the past three years, she has overseen the long-term franchise strategy and planning and marketing communications for Disney’s core entertainment franchises, as well as animated, Pixar, and live-action theatrical releases. Diana Rhoten is named SVP Strategy for News Corporation‘s Education Division. Rhoten will be key in evaluating potential partnerships and help grow the division through appropriate and targeted investments. Rhoten is the co-founder of Startle, founder of the New Youth City Learning Network, and was a program director in the Office of Cyberinfrastructure at the National Science Foundation. Insight Research Group grows with the addition and promotion of new senior managers and managers: Cassandra Rowe becomes Senior Research Manager; she most recently worked for Disney Channels Worldwide. Ally Aleman is named Research Manager; she comes to the company from MSL Group, where she was a research supervisor.
