Changes To The 2010 Totally Wired Teacher Award

After listening to feedback from our friends in the educator community, we’ve made some important changes to this year’s Totally Wired Teacher Award provided by Dell. Please help us spread the word to any public school teachers you are in contact with.
1. Instead of joining us at Mashup this year, this year’s Totally Wired Teacher and one finalist will receive an IT solution from Dell to use in their respective schools. We will instead play a video acceptance from this year’s Totally Wired Teacher at the event.
2. Teachers can either apply themselves or be nominated. We heard from folks that some people prefer the nomination process, so we are bringing it back.
3. The video portion of the application is now OPTIONAL. We would love to get video tips/suggestions to share with others, but we realize how busy public school teachers are.
4. We have extended the deadline. The new deadline is May 17 at 5 p.m. PST.
