Learn From College Marketers @ The Ypulse Mashup
Posted by anastasia on 03-10-2009
After each Ypulse Youth Marketing Mashup event, we always hear the same bit of feedback from attendees: More case studies! We listened, and this June, we are including more case studies throughout the event as well as a Campus Case Study Slam. What’s the slam? It’s back-to-back 15-20 minute case studies from marketers trying to reach the campus demographic. We are asking each speaker to prepare six slides that speak to what worked in their efforts as well as the challenges that arose.
This pre-conference is just one more reason to take advantage of the early adopter rate (which expires at the end of the month!) and register now. We know this is a tough year for conferences, and we are willing to work with folks on a case-by-case basis to make Mashup doable for you and your teams.
Here’s who we have lined up so far for the slam….
Daniel Coates, Co-Founder, SurveyU (Dan will kick off the slam with some fresh research on the college demographic)
Vickie Collier, Vice President, Digital Media, Disney-ABC Television Group (Vickie will share what her team has learned from marketing ABC Family’s hit series “Greek”)
Andrew Flagel, Dean of Admissions and Associate Vice President, George Mason University (Andrew will discuss what he’s learned from his team’s digital marketing efforts to attract prospective students to GMU)
Deborah Gitell, Account Director, Alloy Media + Marketing (Deborah will offer a case study on how Alloy helped Pentel introduce its Hyper-G pen to college students)
Ross Martin, Senior Vice President and Head of Programming, mtvU (Ross is going to present a case study on mtvU’s InDebtEd campaign)
Carisa Natvig, Director of Sponsorship Programs, Youth Marketing Connection (we’re waiting to find out which sponsor Carisa is going to present about, but given all the brands clamoring to reach students over Spring Break, this should be a good one)
Doug Sweeney, Director of Brand Marketing, Levi Strauss (really excited to hear Doug present on how Levis has tried to reach students)
Register today….and I’ll see you in June!
