urockthesummerWith less than two weeks to go until the Ypulse Youth Marketing Mashup event, we’ve been hard at work sorting out the final details of the event and wanted to share our latest, exciting development with Ypulse readers: Disney has signed on as our lunch sponsor! What does this mean for Mashup attendees? Glad you asked…

In honor of Internet Safety Month, Disney will share their experiences with helping to create a safe online environment for youth with Mashup attendees. As an online safety advocate, Disney offers tips for parents on how to keep children safe online, including open communication, spending time together surfing and establishing online rules.

Attendees can also look forward to Disney’s session on the “Best Practices for User-Generated Campaigns” featuring Vice President of Disney.com Jason Davis; Executive Director of Marketing for Walt Disney Records Kelly Hugunin and Executive Vice President and Managing Director of  Disney Online Paul Yanover. The session will offer a case study of Disney’s U Rock The Summer campaign covering generating submissions, managing logistics and defining success.
