Serve as a Director, actively leading and participating in the day-to-day research activities and operations for ad-hoc projects as well as ongoing MROC accounts.

With superior understanding of youth markets and how to decode youth attitudes and behavior, you will play an integral role in helping clients understand the why behind the what. The successful candidate will personify a new frontier of research, answering our clients’ business needs through online research methodologies that deliver meaningful insights.

Research Activities include:

  • Serve as primary point of contact / client account manager for large client accounts / projects, leading the development and growth of the account (with support from Ypulse Business Development team)
  • Communicate with clients to understand and document their business objectives and success factors
  • Select appropriate research methodology and supporting techniques to meet client objectives
  • Design and develop research instruments including questionnaires and moderator guides
  • Lead and actively participate in achieving deliverables for all stages of the Project Life Cycle
  • Prepare and present results including actionable recommendations injected with Ypulse’s deep understanding of youth.
  • Lead the skills development of team members, growing their capabilities and careers
  • Assist in project cost and profitability analysis to ensure health of client relationships over time

This role requires the ability to engage with key clients to develop a deep understanding of their particular business needs and success factors, tailoring the Ypulse Experience to their needs to ensure a lasting and productive relationship.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years experience managing and participating in all stages of Quantitative consumer research projects
  • Minimum 5 years youth research experience
  • Strong communications and client account management skills
  • Firm understanding of online Quantitative research methods and practices
  • Adept with application software, including enterprise software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across multiple teams
  • Ability to delegate and prioritize tasks across service delivery teams
  • Experience in Qualitative research a plus

Trends Intern at Ypulse

Drive leading edge insights and market research “thinking” in to youth targeting brands. The Director of Insights and Inspiration will lead custom and ongoing research projects to success through the use of creative methodologies and deliverables.
